Punctuality is vital to getting a good start to the day and being successful.
Punctuality is vital to getting a good start to the day and being successful.
If you are late 2x in the week without a plausible reason and your Parent/Carer has not contacted the school, then you will receive a 10 mins detention at the start of lunch in PSE 2. in School.
If you do not turn up, then it
will be carried forward to the next lunch for 15 mins. If you fail to attend
this your guidance teacher will make contact with home and follow up.

A gentle
reminder, if your child is absent from school please call the office on
0131-664-7440 or reply to the absence text with the reason your child is
absent.
Music
Department
Senior GASS will run on Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday this week
for National 5 and Higher practice time with accompaniments.
Please note that music practice times will now be available as
follows:

All break
times – practice for pupils receiving instrumental lessons;

Monday
lunch – closed;

Tuesday
lunch – S1-3;
·
Wednesday
lunch – seniors only;
·
Thursday
lunch – S1-3.
Senior music pupils can use any lunch time to prepare for the
performing exams.

Come along or speak to one of the music staff if interested.
Music Awards will continue this term for anyone who is attending
their instrument lessons and going “over and above” in class. Keep working hard
and you could be rewarded each month.

LGBT Group
The LGBT group can come to science 5 every lunchtime with an
official meeting being held on Tuesdays. New and returning members are welcome.
Bring your lunch. Our focus over the next few weeks will be look at the
