Assemblies for Next Week

Scottish National Gallery Trip
All S2/3 pupils going on the Scottish National Gallery trip (Friday 24th April) should go to the start of their period 1 class as usual, then meet in the lunch hall promptly at 9:15am.

A reminder to all that we are very proud of our school uniform and expect all pupils to make every effort to comply with our code.  

Pupils should arrive and leave the building in full uniform (not PE kit).
 
Please remember plain black shoes should be worn and leggings are only acceptable when worn with a skirt of an appropriate length. 

If for any reason you have arrived in school without a piece of uniform e.g. tie or skirt, items can be borrowed before registration from Mrs Fraser in Welfare if a suitable deposit is supplied.

Water Sports Trip
A reminder that there is a parents meeting next Thursday, 30th April at 6pm in the school Library.  Also any pupil who has not collected their hoody please see Mr Gregor ASAP.

Theatre Trips
Can all pupils who are attending any of the theatre trips over the next few weeks, please make sure EE2s are in as soon as possible please?  Money for ‘Rites’ is due – see Mrs Whyte if there is an issue with payment.

John Byrne National Drawing Competition
Thank you to everyone who entered the John Byrne National Drawing Competition. The standard was very high and you did your school proud. Sadly on this occasion a pupil from Harris Academy, Dundee won first prize for her black and white line drawing, but we will try again next year.  All entries have now been returned and if you would like yours back please come and see Ms McKenzie.

Athletics Championship
Sign-ups for the Edinburgh Schools Athletics Championships at Meadowbank stadium on Wednesday 3rd June is now open. If you are interested in representing the school please see Mr Kidd in the PE department as soon as possible.
