Assemblies for Next Week

Order of Assembly:

Tuesday - Skye

Wednesday – Lewis

Thursday – Tiree

Attendance
Congratulations to Lewis house which had the highest number of pupils still on 100% attendance at the September break.  150 house points to Lewis, 100 to Skye who were 2nd and 50 points for Tiree who came a very close 3rd.  A special mention to T1 who had 13 pupils still on 100% - the best tutor group!!

Despite the best efforts of all these 100%ers we now have only one year group in the GREEN ZONE (over 95%) and that is S6 – well done to them.  At 90.1% third years will need to improve or they are going to drop into the RED ZONE
(below 90%).

Come on First Years you could easily give the sixth years a run for their money and get back into the GREEN ZONE.

S1 Students using Edmodo:
All S1 students should now have received their Edmodo letter.  Edmodo is a way of handing in homework and keeping in touch with your teachers online.  Some of your teachers may have already started using it.

In order to use Edmodo, your parent/carer needs to know what it is about.  The letter will give them some useful information about Edmodo.  If your parent or carer has any concerns and does not wish you to be set up with an Edmodo account, they should fill out the tear off slip at the bottom of the letter and you should return it to Mr Whyte in the Technologies department (room ICT2).

Only return the tear off slip if your parents do not wish you to have access to Edmodo.

Mr Whyte has more copies of the letter if any S1 Pupils were absent when the letter was distributed.

Many thanks.
Mr Whyte

Senior Students Photo Order Forms
Senior Students have now received their photo order forms.  The group photo is displayed outside the office and orders for this should be included on the individual order forms.

Please note that the deadline for orders is Monday 28 September.

Many thanks.
