Purple Friday
Friday 28th February is Purple Friday, a day to show our support for LGBT equality and stand against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. You can show your support by wearing something purple on the day, i.e. hair band, socks, belt, etc. or by purchasing a badge (suggested donation is 20p). This year, there will be a stall in the dining hall before registration and at break for anyone who would like a temporary LGBT tattoo, a stick-on purple rhinestone (or a few) or to have their nails painted. Lastly, the LGBT group would like to invite you to join our group photo and have a mini celebration in science 5 at 12:15.
Ms McDonald

LGBT Group
The LGBT group can come to science 5 every lunchtime with an official meeting being held on Tuesdays. New and returning members are welcome. Bring your lunch. Our focus over the next few weeks will be look at the school’s Equalities Policy.
