below:
“So,
You Want to be a Social Worker?” will take place from 1.30pm until 4.30pm in
the University of Edinburgh’s central campus on Friday 2nd November.
Pupils will hear from social workers working within a variety of areas, about
their “typical” days, as well as academic staff who will talk about the
university course content. There will be discussion workshops and opportunities
for pupils to get advice about applying to social work courses (e.g., entrance
requirements, work experience, personal statements etc).
