If you have an interest in a career as a Social Worker, please see the details below:

“So, You Want to be a Social Worker?” will take place from 1.30pm until 4.30pm in the University of Edinburgh’s central campus on Friday 2nd November. Pupils will hear from social workers working within a variety of areas, about their “typical” days, as well as academic staff who will talk about the university course content. There will be discussion workshops and opportunities for pupils to get advice about applying to social work courses (e.g., entrance requirements, work experience, personal statements etc).

To register to attend, pupils should complete the online form here:  https://sywtbasocialworker2018.eventbrite.co.uk

Alternatively, they can phone 0131 651 1755 or email wpteam@ed.ac.uk and we will email them the link to the form.

We are able to help with travel costs for any pupil who wishes to attend, if needed. Pupils can get in touch directly by phone (0131 651 1755) or email (wpteam@ed.ac.uk) to arrange this.
