Well Done to David
Harrold and Lauren Anderson
David Harrold and Lauren Anderson both performed in the
recent CEC annual Fanfare concert (25/11/16 – Central Halls, Tollcross) as part
of the Edinburgh Schools Classical Guitar Ensemble. Other groups included the school’s
orchestra, wind ensemble, jazz band, choir, rock ensemble etc.
The ensemble comprises 32 guitarists from a wide range of
Edinburgh schools and the repertoire included music by Purcell and Izaguirre.
David, our GHS Head Boy, was also invited to introduce
the ensemble to a large audience and he spoke with confidence and assurance.
