Any pupils who are interested in Engineering, a fantastic opportunity has come up to apply for an engineering residential week during the summer holidays. Overview:
•
In July
2017, BAE Systems Military Air and Information will be hosting two residential
Engineering Taster Weeks.
•
This great
opportunity is aimed at 16 - 18 year olds, interested in studying a STEM
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subject at university, or
planning to apply for an apprenticeship programme.
•
The weeks
will be held at Warton Aerodrome in Lancashire, home to the Eurofighter Typhoon
final assembly.
•
The Taster
Weeks will challenge and engage students through a realistic engineering based
project, site tours and product demonstrations.
•
Accommodation
and food costs are covered by BAE Systems. Students are only required to get
themselves to and from Warton at the start and end of the week.
During the
week you will be given the opportunity to:
•
Experience a
