iPad Damages
Over the last few weeks, three iPad Mini’s have been seriously damaged.  The screens have either been smashed or cracked.  It is quite clear that these iPads have been out of their full body protective cases even though students were told to never to take them out.

It costs the school £75 to fix an iPad.  This is money that the school doesn’t have.  Students are reminded that it is very important that their iPads are kept in the case at all times.  If more iPads become damaged, it could be that we have to take all the iPads in and stop the iPad project altogether.

Dining tables –please take care!
A number of the seats attached to the dining tables are becoming damaged by pupils. A damaged seat results in the whole table being put out of action as it becomes unsafe. Currently 5 tables are unable to be used and at this rate there will be little seating left. Pupils may have to stand over break or be asked to go outside. Replacement seats can be ordered but are very expensive. Any pupil found to be damaging or mistreating a seat intentionally will be charged with the replacement. The issue of pupils throwing objects around the dining hall and leaving litter lying continues to be a problem from a small number of pupils. Everybody needs to work together to solve this issue and keep your dining hall a safe and pleasant place to socialise with friends. Please take more care of your dining hall you know it makes sense!
