S1 Parents meeting Wednesday 27 May
A reminder to all S1 pupils that there is a parents meeting next week which is an opportunity for your parents/carers to come along meet your teachers and hear all about the fantastic things you have been doing this session.  Please encourage your folks to come along between 4.30 – 6.30pm.
I will be looking for a few S3 volunteers to help out on the night so if you are interested and available please see Ms Sinclair

S1 Swimming
Pupils who are going swimming next week (Mon 25th – Thurs 28th) must meet at the following times:
Boys group: meet in PE at 1.25.
Girls group: meet in PE at 2.15.
Any problems – please come to the PE department

Water Sports Trip
There will be a meeting next Wednesday period 6 in the PE dept. All pupils going on the trip must attend.

S1/2 Rugby
There is an S1/2 rugby game on Friday 29th May here at Gracemount against Liberton. Please come to the PE department and speak to Mr Else or Mr Kidd to confirm if you can play.

SPORT AND DANCE AWARDS 2015: Thursday 11th June @ 7.00pm  
The PE and dance departments are having an awards night to celebrate all our sporting and dance successes. There will be awards for each sport and dance year group along with a pupil and staff vote to decide who will be the Gracemount sports and dance personality of year.


To vote for your sports and dance personality of the year – please visit the school website.
This evening is open to everyone – if you would like a ticket, come to the PE department.

Outdoor Learning Summer Programme
The City of Edinburgh Council, Sports and Outdoor Learning Unit has a full programme of outdoor and adventurous activities taking place this summer in Edinburgh.  The programme starts on Monday 13th July and runs until Friday 14th August 2015. Sessions include:

Archery, Bushcraft,

Canoeing, Climbing,

Dragon Boating, Elie Chain Walk,

Geocaching, Gorge Walking,

Hill Walking, Mountain Biking,

Multi Activity Days
 
The programme is open to pupils from P6 – S4 and most sessions run from 10:00 – 16:00.
