Gracemount High School Tin CollectionA huge thank you to all those who brought in donations for our local foodbank (Blythswood Care). The staff were incredibly grateful and we would have certainly have made a difference to many families over the Christmas period. Thank you to our S6 pupils: Danielle Manson, Megan McDonald and Demi Montgomery who helped collect and deliver the items. The registration classes who were our best collectors were:

1. Any pupils who are thinking about going to College, the applications for August ’17 courses will open on Monday 16th January.
All pupils who apply to College are guaranteed a place however it is a first come first served basis and once courses are full you will be offered an alternative course. If you know what course you want to do, it would be beneficial to apply as soon as possible so you don’t miss out.
2. After school on Tuesday 17th January the Guidance team are offering anyone who is applying to College and would like some support with the process a chance to come along to ICT 2 and get help with your application.
3. If you are thinking about College and would like to visit one of the campuses, meet with lecturers and pick up some information the Guidance team are running a trip on Tuesday 24th January to the Midlothian Campus. There are only 40 places available, if you would like to come, sign up at the Guidance office from Monday 16thJanuary.Mrs O’Connell

Expressive Arts Show
Tickets for this year’s Expressive Arts Show on 7 February are now on sale in the library.
The show includes a fashion show, dance, music, tap, gymnastic performances as well as photography and art exhibitions.
Adults tickets are £3 and child tickets £1.50. refreshments will be provided.
