Congratulations
Congratulations to the following pupils who were nominated for a variety of awards at last night's Liberton and Gilmerton neighbourhood Partnership Youth Talk awards- Jay Watson, Tia Watson, Alana Graham and Kirsty Wilson.

There was some tough competition so very well done to the winners of the Diversity Champion award which was our Diversity and LGBT team Diane Craig, Keiran Holburn, Chloe Yeung, Sean Adams, Millie Lawrie, Michael Kerr, Alexandria Warner and Linnea Halliday.

The volunteer award was won by Ben Ferguson and former pupil Michael Harris won the Green Warrior Award.

It was a fabulous evening held at the Faith Mission and so good to recognise the efforts of these pupils.  Congratulations to them all.  Next year it would be great to have even more Gracemount pupils nominated so keep up the good work.

Moving Between Classes
Pupils are reminded to move quietly and quickly between classes.  You are asked to keep to the left and use the correct staircase.  There have been a number of incidents recently when pupils have crowded the corridors or blocked the flow of traffic on the stairs.  Such behaviour is extremely dangerous and has already resulted in injury to some.  Please act as responsible citizens and behave in a safe manner to avoid such problems.
